Ms. Erum Ghafoor elected Vice President IDF

KARACHI: Ms. Erum Ghafoor from Pakistan has been elected as Vice President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) during the World Diabetes Congress 2025 held recently in Bangkok, Thailand.

This year marks the IDF’s 75th anniversary, and Pakistan has proudly collaborated with the organization for the past 33 years. Ms. Erum Ghafoor has made history as the first Pakistani candidate to win this position through a competitive election involving 270+ associations worldwide. It is a Proud moment for Pakistan. Heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Erum Ghafoor on this remarkable achievement. (PR)
