LAHORE: University of Lahore in collaboration with Imperial College London has introduced an Advance Leadership and Health Management Course. The faculty for the course consists of Prof. Salman Rawaf President International Association of Medical Colleges who is also Director WHO Collaborating Center for public Health Education at Imperial College London.
Other Faculty members include Celine Tabche Member Royal Society for Public Health and Associate Fellow in the Faculty of Public Health, Dr. Elizabeth Dubois Fellow of UK Royal Society of Public Health, Dr. Mays Raheem Research Assistant for Public Health Education and training at Imperial College London and Ela Augustyniak Project Manager at WHO Collaborating Center for Public Health Education at Imperial College London. During the course there will be one week session at London which is scheduled from July 8th to July 12th 2024 while second one week’s contact session will be at Lahore from November 8th to 12th 2024.
The topics which will be covered during the course include Foundations of Leadership, Effective communication in Healthcare Leadership, Managing change in academic and Healthcare, Emotional intelligence in leadership, Stakeholders Engagement and Governance, Cross-Cultural communication and emotional intelligence, Fieldwork-Communication in Healthcare and Leadership Management Workshops.
