He wanted to send trainees abroad for training but since it could not materialize, he started inviting eminent pediatric cardiologists to Pakistan and this was the best approach. Through this the whole system was developed in the country. He was very much interested in history, wrote a book on pediatric cardiology and was in the process of writing another book on history of pediatric cardiology as he had saw its evolution in Pakistan. He was founder member of PHL and also published an Algorithm on Pediatric cardiology when to treat and when not to treat which was very popular and useful for the clinicians. She also referred to the Karachi Metro vile Study in which he played a vital role from which lot of useful local data was collected.
