LAHORE: Government of Punjab is planning to establish three new medical colleges at Narowal, Okara and Layyah. Allocations for these new medical institutions have been earmarked in the Provincial Budget which was announced recently. This is going to put further pressure on medical and dental colleges in private sector and in the long run, some of them may find it extremely difficult to survive.
