Obituary Note
It is painful to write obituary of a person who until his last days was busy seeing patients and attending meetings. With the demise of Prof Vohra a chapter of clinical medicine and good medical practices has come to an end. Vohra Sahib belonged to a rare breed of all round Physicians. He practiced medicine for over six decades with great dedication and ethics. On the academic side he remained on the faculties of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and Ziauddin medical university. He also served as Principal of KMDC and remained Dean of Post graduate studies at ZUH. He was mentor to scores of physicians now occupying senior positions. Prof Vohra played pivotal role in all medical societies, he was among the founders of PHL and played active role in its progress. He was an active member of PCS, President of Pakistan Aspirin Foundation, Patron of PSIM.

Prof Vohra kept himself updated with latest developments in Medicine. Whenever he found an interesting information he would share with his colleagues. Besides medical expertise he had a depth of general knowledge literature poetry and religion. His arguments and criticism was always positive. As a person he was soft spoken pleasant and courteous. He was popular in all sections of medical fraternity. Her contributions in the field of medical education and clinical services will always be remembered, May Allah bless him with Maghfarat.
