LAHORE: A delegation of Pakistan Association of Medical Editors led by Prof. Major Gen. Muhammad Aslam called on Mr. Owais Rauf and Mr. Ozair to offer condolence on the sad demise of their father Prof. M. A. Rauf founder of University of Lahore on October 22nd 2024.
Other members in the delegation included President PAME Prof. S. H. Waqar, Mr. Shaukat Ali Jawaid Chief Editor Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences, Dr. Fatema Jawad Chief Editor JPMA, Prof. Jamshed Akhtar former Editor JCPSP and currently Editor Journal of Surgery Pakistan, Prof. Akhtar Sherin and Dr. Haris Chief Editor and Editor respectively of Journal of Khyber Medical University, Dr. Masood Jawaid Associate Editor PJMS and Prof. Nazeer Khan Secretary PAME. Fateha was offered for the departed soul with a prayer that may Allah Pak rest his soul in Jannah.
PAME members were at University of Lahore to participate in a special post conference session planned for October 22nd 2024. The 6th PAME National Conference was organized at University of Health Sciences Lahore on October 21st and this post conference session at UOL was part of the scientific programme of the conference.
Later the delegation members also visited the grave of late Prof.M. A. Rauf accompanied by Prof. Mughees and offered Fateha. Prof. Rauf as per his will has been buried at the UOL main campus.
