Common Things First
“When you hear hoof beats, think of horses not zebras.” Fully agreed, common things first.

AI correcting and rephrasing: This is a genuine case reflecting blue of clinical assessment. However, let’s face reality given as below. Hakim, Sanyasi, Janter Mantar used not to believe any stethoscope, BP apparatus will ever change the face of diagnosis, so was no appreciation of digital stethoscope BP apparatus, Labs and images. Now AI although is in offing like distant or virtual clinics seems to be the near fire of medical practice. There will be thus a time where the importance of physical Attendance and dependence on Docs will reduce if not completely taken over. However, in our culture and stage of conditions I agree the experienced and qualified Docs are required and to depend upon.

I agree with you Dr Sb. AI is a great tool for getting rid of repetitive jobs and freeing up individuals to concentrate on the decision-making process in most fields. A good example would be a radiologist reporting 20 CT scans a day. The bulk of that work can be done by AI and the radiologist can do the decision part. As to your example of the patient with self-diagnosed cancer, unfortunately social media is less responsible and needs proper regulation.

Wedding in Ramadan
A very good idea to hold weddings in Ramadan! For the rest, I agree that most Muslims around the world (non-Arabs) only recite the Holy Quran in Arabic, that has some blessings, but I feel it would be more useful if people also tried to read and understand the Quran in their own native languages. Good Quranic translations are highly necessary. We will never be able to properly practice our faith without properly understanding it.

Medical Institutions Heads must ensure Discipline,
Monitoring and Accountability of their staff
Very important issue being discussed but its wise versa as well. Bureaucracy, politicians and people from power corridors interfere in administrative matters and don’t allow to take disciplinary actions. So public institutions cannot be run smoothly with merit

This is extremely important reminder for all concerned. Opposition to discipline can be countered by practicing justice. Moreover, preparation of a fresh “Policies and Procedures” document regarding rules and regulations and then ensuring that all individuals have received it with signatures will give a fresh start to administration and wake up call to all staff.

Broken Needle
Very interesting write up by Dr. Munawar Aziz. Bad professional in health sector can affect an individual adversely but a bad professional in education can destroy a big part of our society.

Nobody can beat Dr. Munawar Aziz in choosing the title for his columns. You never know how many incidents have happened but never reported. This is really very sad reality which we face in our country. Just pray for the better future for our next generation.

A broken injection needle lodged inside tissue, during injecting procedure is undoubtedly a rare occurrence. This incident is significant enough to warrant documentation in a scientific case report, both to alert the international medical community and for record-keeping purposes. To my knowledge, I have neither encountered nor come across a similar case in the literature. Such an event might be attributed to heightened anxiety or sudden movements during the procedure.
