LAHORE: King Edward Medical University (KEMU) in collaboration with Pakistan Psychiatric Research Center (PPRC) is organizing the First International Child Psychiatric Conference on November 28-29th 2025. This academic event has also been endorsed by World Psychiatric Association Section on Psychiatry in developing countries and SAARC Psychiatric Federation and Asian Federation of Psychiatric Associations.
This academic event is expected to attract leering mental health experts, professionals, researchers and educators in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Pakistan besides delegates from overseas. The scientific programme will feature keynote lectures, panel discussions, symposia, interactive workshops. The conference will focus on innovations, emerging challenges besides collaborative opportunities in child psychiatry and allied disciplines.
Prof. Nazish Imran Head, Dept. of Child and Family Psychiatry at King Edward medical University is the Chairman of the organizing committee while Prof. M. Waqar Azeem Chairman Sidra Medicine from Doha Qatar is chairman of the scientific committee. Other members of the organizing committee include Prof. Afzal Javed Chairman Pakistan Psychiatric Research Centre and Prof. Ali Madeeh Hashmi, Chairman Academic Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at KEMU.
