LAHORE: Saleha Azeem from KEMU earned the first position in the oral competition during the recently held 9th International medical conference organized by Shalamar Medical & Dental College Lahore. Mohammad Abdullah Hameed from CMH got the second position while Husnain Majid Javed CMH Bagged the 3rd Position.
In the poster competition first position was earned by Maha Sajjad from KEMU while the second position was won by Muhammad Moghis also from KEMU. : Ahmad Qaiser from Fatema Memorial Hospital got the 3rd Position.
Postgraduate Research Category
Dr. Maryam Ayub, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow, from Psychiatry Department of KEMU wpm the first prize in the Postgraduate Research category at the 9th International Conference held at Shalamar Medical and Dental College. She presented her team’s research on the “Epidemiology of Suicidal Behaviours in South Asia: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis,” showcasing important work in this critical area.
She completed her Psychiatry residency at the Academic Department of Psychiatry, KEMU, under the supervision of Prof. Ali Hashmi, and is currently pursuing her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the Child & Family Psychiatry Department, KEMU, under the supervision of Prof. Nazish Imran.
