KARACHI: Dr. Jahan Ara Ainuddin, Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, a distinguished researcher who was one of the Pro Vice Chancellors of Dow University of Health Sciences has been named as Acting Vice Chancellor of DUHS. A notification has been issued to this effect by the Sindh Government.
Prof. Jahan Ara Ainuddin, it may be mentioned here, is an eminent obstetrician & Gynecologist also earned PhD in this specialty some years ago. She was also given the additional responsibilities of Medical Superintendent of the affiliated teaching hospital at Ojha Campus till recently. The announcement comes since the incumbent Vice Chancellor of DUHS is retiring shortly after playing his successful innings.
