Dr. Afifa Ehsan secures the first position with 77 marks
LAHORE: University of Health Sciences Lahore has announced the result of Certificate in Medical Journalism & Editing CMJE Batch-2 for which Viva exam was held on December 18th 2024. There were four candidates from the current batch and three from the last batch and all of them have qualified.
As per the university rules, the Examination Department has issued the result in two notifications. The first notification contains the result of four candidates while the second notification contains the result of three candidates from the previous batch. The First, Second and Third position for prize will be selected from the first notification which relates to the current batch. Hence Dr. Afifa Ehsan (77 marks) will get the first prize, Prof. M Ajmal (76 marks) will get the second prize while Dr. Ali Raza (74 marks) will get the third prize which are all sponsored by Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences and they are in the name of Prof. Javed Akram, Prof. Maj. Gen. M. Aslam and Prof. Arshad Javed respectively. The prize and certificate will be presented at the induction ceremony of the next batch at UHS hopefully during February 2025. Looking at the overall result, Prof. Tayyaba Gul Malik had secured maximum marks (82) but she belonged to the last group, hence could not be considered as per rules.
