ISLAMABAD: Coordinator to Prime Minister on health Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad Bharath formally inaugurated the Fazaia College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences at Air University Islamabad on 29th October, 2024. Speaking on the occasion he lauded the initiative taken by Pakistan Air Force, Air University Islamabad and Fazaia Medical College to establish the Fazaia College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. He also expressed his desire to enhance the number of seats for admission to accommodate maximum number of academically deserving candidates for nursing education at FCNAHS.

Miss Kanwal Qaiser, Principal Fazaia College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Air University in her speech elaborated the vision, mission and philosophy of Fazaia College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. Pakistan Air Force, she said, has a vision of providing state of the art Health Care facilities to the Pakistani population through excellence in Healthcare Academics and practical learning has been translated in tangible form by the establishment of Fazaia College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences at Air University Islamabad. It is nested in the scenic educational environment of Air University Islamabad near to Fazaia Medical College and Other Engineering, Computer and Social Sciences Departments of Air University, hence providing an innovative, progressive and stimulating scholarly environment for the Nursing Faculty as well as the students who shall be attending their academic classes in the newly purpose-built building.
The FCNAHS Islamabad vision is to be a center of academic excellence with professional learning in an innovative technology-integrated learning environment, including values of professional excellence and compassion. Islamic world had Rufaida Al Aslamia an Arab Muslim women, she stated, drafted the first nursing code of Ethics during the 7th Century along with promoting preventive care and health education to communities.
FNAHSC provides the latest and futuristic state of the art Clinical Skills Lab with several task trainers and hi-fidelity manikins to provide hands on practice before the nursing students proceed to hospital for patient care. This adds to patient safety and confidence of the candidate to assist in several healthcare procedures. PAF Teaching Hospitals will provide an ideal learning environment.
