World Brain Health Day celebrated at LCMD

KARACHI: World Brain Health Day was celebrated on August 19th, 2024, at Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD), Karachi, with courtesy of WFN and NARF Pakistan. It was attended by Principal COM, LCMD Prof. Dr. Rashid Naseem Khan, faculty members, including Director Academics Prof. Dr. Rizwan Azami, Assistant Prof. Dr. Shahida Kashif, Assistant Prof. Dr. Zareen, and Dr. Shafi Mansoori, besides postgraduate trainees and undergraduate students.

Speakers were Prof. M. Wasay from AKU, Dr. Sumera Umer from DUHS and Prof. Abdul Malik from LCMD. Dr. Bushra Ammad moderated the session. The event concluded with heartfelt thanks extended to the college administration and all those who contributed to making this CME impactful in raising awareness about brain health and promoting the prevention of neurological disorders.
