When investigated the major risk factors reported are pricking of IV infusion bottles, Re-use of syringes especially in rural areas by General Practioners, and r-use of blades by Barbers. We have to learn and make standard operating procedures in our early practice because it is very difficult to change our habit. Healthcare providers are always at high risk of getting hepatitis B or C due to needle stick injuries and it could also be the source of Hepatitis spread. Healthcare Professionals should follow standard operating protocol which will help them to protect themselves from getting infected.
