KARACHI: Pricking of IV infusions must be discouraged to avoid contamination, which could be very dangerous for the Patients. Increased awareness is the best option to control hepatitis spread and for this we have to create awareness through CME programs and other educational activities. Dr. Bader Faiyaz Zuberi appreciated Otsuka Pakistan’s efforts to provide quality preparations which do not need pricking. He hoped that precautionary measures being taken during manufacturing of IV infusions and their efforts to create awareness regarding problems like pricking of IV bottles, needle stick injuries etc. will help to further promote this message and help to save precious lives.
