4thIntegrated Health Sciences Convocation
of Fatima Memorial System

LAHORE: The 4thIntegrated Health Sciences Convocation of Fatima Memorial System was held at the Aiwan-e-Iqbal in Lahore of graduates from the FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry, FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences and the Saida Waheed College of Nursing. Those who got their degrees at the convocation included 103 medical graduates.38 dental graduates, 45 Allied Health Science graduates, 34 Post RN B.ScN and 63B.Sc Nursing graduates.

The graduates achieved a total of 15 Positions and 126 distinctions from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore. The degrees were conferred by Maj. Gen (R) Prof. Muhammad Aslam, Vice Chancellor of University of Health Sciences, Lahore who was the chief guest on this occasion.  To date, 685 MBBS, 261 BDS, 199 Allied Health Sciences, 210 Post RN B.ScN and 174 B.Sc Nursing students have graduated from Fatima Memorial System. The students have achieved a total 148 University of Health Sciences Positions and 870 University of Health distinctions so far.

Those who were present on this occasion included Tariq Rehman – Chairman, Board of Management, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, Prof. Humayun Maqsood- Principal, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, Prof.  Nazia Yazdanie – Principal, FMH College of Dentistry, Professor Jamshed Nasir- Vice Principal Academics, FMHCM&D & Professor Abid Ashar – Vice Principal, FMH College of Dentistry, faculty member and graduating students of all three colleges. PSN holds its 22nd National
Conference at Quetta

QUETTA: Pakistan Society of Neurology organized its 22nd National Neurology Conference here from April 10-12, 2015. It attracted a large numbers of neurologists from all over the country. Scientific programme was spread over six sessions and pre conference neurophysiology workshop. The Honorable Governor of Baluchistan Mr. Muhammad Khan Achakzai was the Chief Guest & Principal Bolan Medical College Prof. Saadat Khan was the Guest of Honor at the conference. (PR)
