 Prof. Humayun Maqsood
passes away

LAHORE: Prof. Humayun Maqsood, Professor of Medicine and Principal of Fatima Memorial Medical and Dental College passed away peacefully while asleep on May 7, 2015. Prior to joining FMMDC, he was affiliated with Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women/Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore for over two decades and also served as its Chief Executive for some time.  A noted physician, late Prof. Humayun Maqsood was a very humble, kind, God fearing physician who was a man of very few words and left this world also quietly having a peaceful death at home. Earlier he had survived a massive heart attack couple of weeks ago but as soon as he stabilized, he started performing his duties as Principal at FMMDC and remained busy till the last day. Detailed obituary note to follow.
