ILM Festival by
Jahan-e-Maseeha 
Adbi Forum at Karachi

Karachi: Hundreds of doctors along with their families, students and people from different walks of life visited the ILM Festival, an Educational & Health Exhibition at Karachi Expo Center organized by Jahan-e-Maseeha Adbi Forum, which is an entity established by PharmEvo for doctors and healthcare providers. Visitors showed keen interest in books on history, literature, culture and various fields of medical profession. The event was held from 26-27th, October 2019.

According to Mr. Ather Sulaiman, Corporate Manager PharmEvo, this was one of its kind festival and thematic book fair which was loaded with various learning sessions along with healthy activities thereby, bringing books, learning and health oriented life sessions all under one roof.

Event was organized for an audience that specially involves health care providers as well as general public who have interest for reading & healthy lifestyle. We strongly believe that our contribution to create the interest of reading along with health based lifestyle will certainly help our mission to make the community healthier both physically & intellectually.

Thousands of books had been displayed at the book fair by various well known book sellers which were available on highly discounted price. Various activities by different Business Units of PharmEvo were also part of the event which were actively participated by the visitors and showed keen interest and congratulated PharmEvo team for this excellent activity. Highlights of the event also includes different talks by experts in their field. Mr. Sohail Zindani talked about living with happiness, Syed Jamshed Ahmed delivered a talk on the art of success, Mr. Salman Asif Siddiqui discussed raising healthy kids in current times, Chef Asad Latif shared his experience about cook healthy, live healthy, Mr. Talha Farooqi, gave tips of Health warm up and Mr. Yogi Wajahat talked about healthy lifestyle. Dr. Sikander Mitrab,s book Bahishat Zairpa was also launched where various speakers lauded the efforts of Dr. Sikander for this excellent book which is a tribute to mothers. (PR)

Unrestricted grant by PharmEvo to
develop community pharmacy

KARACHI: Community pharmacy plays an important role in improving medication safety & to achieve desired treatment outcomes. Keeping in consideration the same, PharmAssist, A CSR initiative of PharmEvo, is conducting the educational program for the development of community pharmacy practice across Pakistan through unlimited educational grant.

Among few tremendous CSR initiative, PharmAssist is one of the most ground breaking CSR initiative of PharmEvo Pvt. Ltd. that has tremendously contributed to the empowerment of Pharmacists in Pakistan. PharmAssist has supported not only Hospital Pharmacy Services, capacity building workshops for healthcare professionals but also geared up & determined to improve Pharmaceutical Distribution & community pharmacy practices providing optimized capacity building workshops for Chemists & Retailers.

The specialized trainings involve very useful tips ranging from pharmacy management to improving the retailer’s day to day practice by keeping in account the importance of temperature control, Storage Conditions, expiry monitoring, patient counseling & pharmacy Inventory control which plays an important role in both financial and operational perspectives supporting the retailers to retain the quality of medications while keeping them in the pharmacy stores as cost of poor quality is a huge burden on not only the patients but also on health care expenditure in Pakistan. Although regulators & Government of Pakistan are working towards betterment of community pharmacy but as a socially responsible company, PharmEvo is conducting a pharmaceutical CSR, representing a portion of practice as it’s a responsibility of all stake holders to participate in their capacity to create awareness & facilitate in capacity building of retailer & chemists across the nation.
