RCP London delegation interview CPSP
postgraduates for training in UIK

LAHORE: The Royal College of Physicians London interviewed the FCPS Part II trainees to work in England for a specific period of two years. The RCPL delegation consisted of Prof. David Russel, Prof. Peter Trewby, Prof. Tanzeem Raza and Dr. Sarfraz. According to MTI scheme system these trainee doctors will get training in the different hospitals of England and after that they will come back and serve the nation. The leader of RCP interviewing team Prof. Peter Trewby in his interaction with President CPSP Prof. Zafar Ullah Chaudhry and council members said that the trainee doctors of CPSP will play an important role in the medical history of Pakistan and England. Both countries will get benefits with mutual collaboration and corporation.

A dinner was hosted in honor of RCP delegation at CPSP regional center Lahore. UHS signs agreement
with Kyrgyz varsity

LAHORE: An agreement on cooperation was signed Wednesday, February 24, between University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, and International University of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. UHS Vice Chancellor Maj Gen (R) Prof Muhammad Aslam and Chairman Board of Trustees International University of Kyrgyzstan Dr. Asylbek Aidaraliev, signed the agreement.

According to the agreement, the two sides will exchange faculty and students and hold research meetings in order to make the most of scientific opportunities. The agreement is due to be implemented in a couple of months.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Dr. Aidaraliev said that Kyrgyzstan attached particular emphasis to its relationship with Pakistan. He said, “The cooperation between our universities will contribute to enhancing relations between our countries”. Besides reciprocal visits, the agreement also envisages cooperation in initiating special short-term academic programmes and dual diploma programme. (PR)
