Condolence meeting

Speakers pay rich tributes
to late Dr. Sarwar Chaudhry

LAHORE: A condolence reference in the memory of legendry family physician and KEMCOLIAN 1960, Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Chaudhary (Late) was held in King Edward Medical University, Lahore Minister for Health Punjab, Prof. Dr. Yasmin Rashid presided. Speaking at the occasion she said that we worked together for 25 years. He was an honest trustworthy person who devoted his entire life for serving ailing humanity and she was proud of his companionship.

The former Principle, KEMC Professor, Prof. Khawaja Saadiq Husain paid extraordinary homage to late Dr. Sarwar Chaudhry and said his services will always be remembered. He also added that organizing a condolence reference is a good tradition on the part of the University.

Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal said that Dr. Sarwar Chaudhry was a great KEMCOLIAN and the KEMCOLIAN will always be proud of the services rendered and his special efforts for the rights of doctors and patients will be remembered.

The president of Pakistan Medical Association Prof. Ashraf Nizami paid tribute to Dr. Sarwar Chaudhry for his remarkable services for PMA and advised his relatives to continue the trends set by him. At the end Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal offered collective Fateha for the “Maghfirat” of the departed soul. Those present in the meeting included Dr. Dil Muhammad, Prof. Saulat Ullah, Prof. Ihsan Ullah, Prof. Muhammad Amjad, Dr. Tanvir Anwar, Dr. Tariq Mahmood Mian, Dr. Izhar Chaudhry and Dr. Muhammad Saeed besides KEMU Faculty members and young KEMCOLIANs.(PR)
