Awareness campaign against Hepatitis

MULTAN: Safe practices for the prevention and spread of Hepatitis should be adopted at all levels by the medical professionals and this message needs to be communicated to the public through media to make them aware of the dangers of these deadly diseases. This was stated by Prof. M. Samee Akhtar Principal and Prof. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Nishtar Medical College Hospital Multan. He along with other senior faculty members from NMC was performing the Otsuka Lucky Draw in connection with their awareness campaign against Hepatitis here recently. He also appreciated the efforts of Otsuka Pakistan in this regard.

Prof. Naseer Ahmed Tariq and Prof. Shahid Rao highlighted the importance of adopting precautionary measures on emergency basis against Hepatitis spread by all the healthcare professionals.
Earlier Mr. Shafeeq Field Manager Multan introduced the Saviors Club while Mr. Moeen ud Din Product Manager Otsuka Pakistan shared with the participants some facts and figures about Needle Stick Injuries & Hepatitis spread and its effects. Mr. Abid Hussain Gillani Regional Sales Manager South of Otsuka answered some queries from the participants about the current market situation of I V Solutions in Pakistan.
