KARACHI: M/s PharmEvo in collaboration with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) has launched a health awareness programme among the school children entitled ‘Building Healthy Future. An agreement was signed between TCF and PharmaEvo by Mr. Ali Raza TCF General Manager and Syed Jamshed Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer PharmEvo at TCF Qayumabad campus here recently. Under the agreement, students belonging to underprivileged areas would be provided with information on health related issues, principles for a good health, importance of cleanliness and hygiene through lectures and interesting activities across the country.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Ali Raza said that education to less privileged children is our mission. At present we are running eight hundred thirty schools in one hundred and nineteen areas and sixty cities all over the country from Gawader to Mansehra. Completion of one thousand schools is our target, which he hoped will be achieved. It is our duty to provide education and training to our youth for which different training programmes like summer camps, storytelling, Rahbar Mentoring Programmes are being conducted regularly. After completing schooling, TCF students are provided career counseling and financial assistance to deserving youngsters for their higher education in different fields. 
Continuing Mr. Ali Raza said that this partnership with PharmEvo was specifically health education. This collaboration will go a long way in promoting health awareness especially to the majority of people living in rural areas who had limited knowledge about essential oral health and hygiene. This activity will benefit the students, their families and future generations of our country Mr. Ali Raza added.
Syed Jamshed Ahmed speaking at the occasion said that PharmEvo has planned to partner with The Citizens Foundation to educate the youth of this country on health & hygiene. This project will utilize the services of healthcare professionals to communicate invaluable expertise about health and hygiene to children. We have chosen TCF as it serves deserving class of the Pakistan, so we want our contribution to serve for this noble cause. Schools are the basic place where the mental as well as physical health of the child develops. Good health and sound academia play vital role in building healthier society. He further said that UNICEF has also highlighted the importance of schools hygiene, where school has a central place in the health of a community. PharmEvo would run the drive under its corporate social responsibilities (CSR) activities and assured that their cooperation would be enhanced in the future activities.
