FAISALABAD: Pakistan Cardiac Society is holding its 46th annual conference named as CARDIOCON 2016 at Faisalabad from November 25-27th 2016. Prof. Muhammad Naeem Aslam Professor of Cardiology at Punjab Medical College/ Allied Hospital is the Convener of the conference while Prof. Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry is the Co-convener. Theme of the conference is Global Heart Health in 21st Century: Prevention to Treatments”. The meeting is being organized in collaboration with Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology .Prof. Farid Zafar Principal of PMC is the Patron-in-Chief while Prof. Dr. Anjuim Jalal is Patron of the conference.

According to the preliminary programme there will be sessions on Preventive Cardiology, Combined Workshops on Hypertension by PHL and PCS as well as APCNE. Other sessions will be on  ACS, Unstable Angina, Heart failure, Women and Heart diseases, Pregnancy and Heart Disease, Workshops on ECG, session on paediatric cardiology in collaboration with Pakistan Society of Paediatric Cardiology and Children Hospital Lahore,  Special session on Medical Education in collaboration with AEME, Cardiac Surgery, Basic Review Course for intervention,  Live telecast  from Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiology Intervention, Workshop on Echocardiography, Session on Cardiomyopathy and Pericardial Disease,  session on Congenital  and Paediatrics Echocardiography. The meeting is likely to attract a large number of cardiologists, internal medicine physicians, paediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and postgraduates.
