ISLAMABAD: Prevalence of diabetes and hypertension is increasing fast and most of the patients come to know about it when they are confronted with some complications. Despite the fact that we have too many professional specialty organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other interested groups working in these fields and they keep on organizing seminars and conferences mostly at Five Star Hotels all sponsored by the pharmaceutical trade and industry but it has so far failed to make any impact.
