LAHORE: So far just three classes have graduated from Shalamar Medical & Dental College from this young institution but we have successfully organized the second International Medical Conference in which a large number of invited guest speakers and healthcare professionals from Pakistan has participated. This shows that Shalamar desires to be more than a Teaching Hospital. This was stated by Mr. Shahid Hussain Member Board of Trustee of Shalamar Medical & Dental College while speaking at the concluding session of the conference on Sunday February 4th 2018. The concluding session was preceded by three State of the Art lectures by renowned Key Note speakers. The theme of the Third conference which will be organized from February 2-3rd 2019 has already been decided which will be “Navigating the future”, and we look forward to welcome all of you again in the first week of February next year, he added.

Chairman Board of Trustees Syed Babar Ali also briefly spoke on the occasion and stated that such conferences provide us an opportunity to listen what is happening in the field of medicine. Medical Ethics, Ethics and Law are also very important and a lot is happening in the field of research and medical education. The only limiting factor was our mind, he remarked.
