Thought Provoking,
stimulating books

I was delighted to receive two books authored by you “Plight of a Medical Editor: An Autobiography” and “A combination of Acid & Honey”. I found them highly informative and interesting as they contain lot of medical history in Pakistan and scientific knowledge on different subjects. These books are thought provoking and mind stimulating. In my humble opinion they should be in every doctor’s personal library while libraries of every medical institution in Pakistan must also have it.

This book has multiple shades of taste from burning acid to the sweet honey. The author is known to speak the truth, the naked truth, the bitter truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It also contains some interesting interviews, book reviews besides some updates on professional matters. I congratulate the author who is the pioneer whole time Medical Journalist in Pakistan for giving birth to his 22nd intellectual baby. We all wish him good health and happiness.

I am in receipt of your very interesting and useful book ‘Combination of Acid and Honey’. I marvel at your keen enthusiasm for writing so many books related to medicine, particularly emphasizing medical ethics and merit. Every few months passes and we have a new publication from you.

The book has varied 98 chapters - as diverse as publication and frauds, professional jealousemia, intellectual corruption in medical education, degrees and boastful chain of letters, interesting interviews with eminent personalities and much more. I hope to gain from your writing -thank you so much for a beautiful gift.

Prof. Zakiuddin G. Oonwala

Hamdard University,

It was indeed pleasure to receive your latest book entitled “A combination of Acid and Honey”. This is a wonderful book to know the medical community and it is also a good reminder for all of us to look at the dark side that appears under the flame.

I have personally shared some of the topics covered in your book with my colleagues and we all agree with your thoughts describing the combination of Acid and Honey covering various aspects of our professional, economic and political environment. I have also rad the articles on similar subjects but none were as clear, specific and relevant as yours. Please accept my compliments and wish you best look for future editions.
